[Dates via NME]

I saw Peter Bjorn and John at their infamously bad reviewed show at Bowery Ballroom in January. I was charmed by Peter and enjoyed Bjorn's antics, but I did agree that a lot of their set left something to be desired. I wonder how they'll do in a venue as big as Webster Hall? Maybe now I'll reconsider not going and get a ticket, cause this show seems like it'll be a lot of booty shakin'. And who doesn't like shakin' their booty?

Speaking of Fujiya and Miyagi, Steph dragged me to their show at Barnard College on Monday (March 19th). Despite the 100 or so Columbia/Barnard hipsters that flocked to the show and talked through most of the set, it was a good time. Their bass heavy tunes are perfect for a dark club kind of vibe; I heard their Mercury Lounge show the night before was amazing and got the Lower East Siders dancing.
