Jose Gonzalez: In Our Nature

A mere four years after releasing Veneer, Mr. Jose Gonzalez will finally be releasing his second full-lenth album on September 25, 2007. Admittedly, Veneer only came out in the US in April 2006, but its never too soon (or too late) for a new Jose Gonzalez album. In Our Nature will feature the same "brooding intensity" that we've grown to know and love.
"I like playing with symbolism," says González. "On this album I've wanted to bring out the primitive aspects of human beings." In addition to González on guitar and vocals are Erik Bodin, percussion and Yukimi Nagamo, backing vocals.
Tracklisting below:
1. "How Low"
2. "Down The Line"
3. "Killing For Love"
4. "In Our Nature"
5. "Teardrop"
6. "Abram"
7. "Time To Send Someone Away"
8. "The Nest"
9. "Fold"
10. "Cycling Trivialities"

Get your first taste of Jose's new stuff at his Spiegeltent show on August 21st. Tickets here.

I wonder if Time To Send Someone Away is a new version of Send Someone Away that he did with Embee a couple of years ago...
