Smashing Pumpkins Headlining Virgin Festival In Toronto

In it's second year running, Toronto's Virgin Festival scored a major headliner. The Smashing Pumpkins are set to headline second night of the festival, set to take place on September 8th and 9th in Toronto Island Park. It will be their first 2007 North American appearance.

The first night's headliner is Bjork, and other confirmed acts include The Killers, Interpol, Tokyo Police Club, Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini and more.

The Smashing Pumpkins are set to perform at Pinkpop Festival (The Netherlands), Primavera Sound (Spain), Rock Am Ring (Germany), Lisbon Festival (Portugal), Nova Rock Festival (Austria), Heineken Festival (Italy), Greenfields Festival (Switzerland).

Their new album Zeitgeist will be released on July 7th.

Bjork is also scheduled to headline the following festivals: Coachella (California), Sasquatch Festival (Washington), Glastonbury (UK), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Open'er (Poland), Roskilde (Denmark), and Paleo Festival (Switzerland).
