Unusual Animals This Sunday

This Mother's Day [Sunday, May 13th], if you aren't home spending time with your Moms, head on over to Union Hall in Park Slope for "Unusual Animals," a series presented by Asthmatic Kitty.

If you were at the first Unusual Animals party in Austin at SXSW, you know that it was a huge success, thanks to ample supplies of root beer, chocolate, juice, and fine music - all on a wonderful Saturday afternoon in the back yard of an art gallery. It went so well that the Unusual Animals has bred into a series, the second of which will be a matinee show held in Brooklyn on May 13 at Union Hall.

This new show will also include the release party of Shapes and Sizes' new full length album, Split Lips, Winning Hips, A Shiner. The star-studded lineup also includes Flying, Stars Like Fleas, and Osso. Doors open at 1pm.
